We are currently seeking an individual with a Real Estate or Business related University Degree or College Diploma to take on the Real Estate Acquisitions Prospector position. This is a tremendous opportunity for growth and valuable firsthand experience in the fast paced real estate sector.
Job Responsibilities Include:
• Reporting to the Director of Acquisitions, you will be responsible for prospecting potential building purchases, and the initial financial analysis thereof. This position requires but is not limited to:
• Contacting building owners in various cities in the Eastern GTA in the interest of property purchase
• Networking through industry related organizations and building ongoing relationships with property owners
• Visiting properties and building owners for a physical review of the property and additional analysis
• Extensive research of various cities and markets; providing summary reports thereof
• In depth competitive and market place surveys for select neighborhoods where properties are being purchased
• The gathering and review of potential property purchases’ financial statements
• Other related duties as required
Required Experience and Skills:
• Recent completion of Real Estate or Business, or Sales related University Degree or College Diploma
• Three or more years of sales and/or work experience in a professional setting required
• Outbound sales experience is considered to be a strong asset
• Strong emphasis on relationship building and communication skills
• An understanding of real estate related financials is considered an asset
• Must be very well organized and detailed oriented
• The ability to work independently in a target oriented environment
• A technical background in structural, mechanical and general building finishes is considered an asset
• Must be comfortable using computers, with a firm grasp of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Excel
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s license is required
• Work schedule flexibility will be required on occasion
