Job Requirements:

Currently we are seeking a team player to be part of the accounting team as a lease administrator. Ideally you have 3-5 yrs leasing / accounting experience and have worked in a property management environment.
 
  • Processing (including accepting/rejecting) of residential leasing applications
  • Processing notices to vacate (including re-assignments) on Yardi, sending vacate letter & follow up
  • Set up new tenants on Yardi
  • Lease preparation & signing
  • Create and maintain tenant files
  • Prepare tenant correspondence
  • Maintain vacancy reports
  • Accounts receivable
  • Maintains control of parking & parking charges for own portfolio
  • Taking rental calls
  • Processing legal forms (Landlord and Tenant Board experience)
  • Maintains a close liasion with all rental agents/superintendents and AOM's to ensure vacancy is low
  • Tenant references
  • Purchase Order preparation
  • Accounts Payable processing
  • Responding to and forwarding tenant complaints/requests to appropriate property manager
  • Any added administrative duties that PM may request
  • General accounting responsibilities including: tenant adjustments, tenant refunds, month end review of property rent roll, A/R review
  • Property management experience is an asset
