L’art magnétique, 2022 by Marc Séguin Inspired by the mystical and supernatural intention that has always accompanied and transcended Riopelle’s art, artist Marc Séguin wished to remain faithful to the enchantment and balance of intention and instinct that characterized his work. The bird represents both the migratory bird, which served as a metaphor to embody and become the symbol of Riopelle’s migrations, of territories and lives; the white goose, which sees the world differently (from the sky), to ensure its progress; the bird of the north, which survives by following an invisible magnetic route, far from the defined and reassuring beacons.

Good so far and location is great, a little bit expensive though. The pool and terrace are nice. Paola was very helpful while showing us the appartment and explaining us how everything works as we were newcomers in Montreal

I booked a virtual tour from the CLV website and it quickly got arranged. Annamaria Baronello is my agent and she added me on WeChat to send me some videos since I was not in Canada at that point. She is really nice, responsible, and efficient with all my inquiries and problems despite me being away from Montreal! All in all, I had a pretty good experience and definitely would recommend it to other McGill students who are looking for an apartment. Also, I think it’s really great that I can drill holes and put nails on the wall to hang my artwork. Not many buildings allow that :)
