I've just moved from Toronto to Ottawa for law school and while hunting for apartments a few weeks back, I came across this absolute gem of a property! Not only is it super close to the city and everything that is dear to Ottawa, it is just far enough to bring you the peace and quiet of a common suburb back home in the Greater Toronto Area whilst guarantee'ing everything at a walking distance (I walk to and from campus most days if I'm not hopping on the O-Train which is only 2 blocks away!) The building itself is super sleek and contemporary, with state-of-the-art finishings and technology from the fob/phone access entry and parcel system to the gorgeous hi-tech gym equipment and slate grey/black finishings throughout the suites. I love love love the space and it feels like a home away from home, thanks to the absolutely amazing in-house team (Richard and Josh!) who I had the pleasure of completing my move with. I couldn't thank them enough for all that they have done and continue to help out with. They're definitely the go-to guys and it's always so lovely seeing them around throughout the day (be sure to say hi and don't hesitate to reach out for a helping hand, they've got you covered quicker than you can even ask!) After having lived on King St West for 6 years, I was super worried I'd land an older and more rundown/builder-model apartment but The Slayte is stunning in all aspects and fingers crossed I can continue to stick around as I complete my 3 year graduate program!
