Located beside Lake Ontario, it offers extensive biking trails that you can hit on any given day during the warmer months. If you’re eager to take the bike out for a spin while exploring your new city, be sure to head down to the waterfront trails.

Hike the Bruce Trail

Burlington is nestled among the Niagara Escarpment, so if you’re an outdoor enthusiast, you won’t be disappointed with the variety of options for exercising outside. Hiking the Bruce Trail is one of our favourite places and ways to exercise in Burlington. This trail lets you discover one of Canada’s most spectacular natural conservation areas.

Rock Climb at Rattlesnake Pointe

Rattlesnake Pointe is just as cool as it sounds. This conservation area is teeming with stunning, wild landscapes. Here you can ditch the gym and go rock climbing on a cliff face instead! This is perfect if you love a little adrenaline rush with your workout.

Get Fit in the Core

If you’re located close to downtown, you can join in on free open-air exercise class call Get Fit in the Core. You can look forward to a new and different class every week throughout the summer months. Some of the courses include yoga, core strength, interval training, and more. All you need to bring is your water bottle and mat!
