The Opportunity 

As part of the Finance team, the cornerstone of this role is recording and processing invoices in a prompt and accurate manner, but you will also be tasked with researching ledgers, answering inquiries, and reconciling vendor statements.  Attention to detail is essential in this role as recording invoices in accordance with our policies and procedures is crucial to maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities will include, at a minimum:

  • Receiving, coding, and entering invoices in the accounting system,
  • Receiving, reviewing, and processing credit card statements;
  • Reviewing and entering new and change vendor requests following vendor maintenance policies and procedures;
  • Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions;
  • Maintaining excellent vendor relationships by responding to questions on a timely basis and effectively, and
  • Other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Must Haves

  • Fully bilingual in both English and French
  • Proven administrative skills and high level of accuracy for data entry
  • Very well organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time and activities efficiently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
