Be part of an award winning landscape crew recognized by the city of Montreal. As our Landscape Crew Leader, your main focus is to supervise team members in the day-to-day grounds maintenance tasks and Landscaping Projects to a high standard, contributing to the overall customer satisfaction of our residents. You will be working under the direction of our Montreal Landscape Manager.
Our landscape team is professional and organized. We work year-round and provide support beyond typical landscape duties where we support building operations and site team members. This means there are no rain days for us. We work full time and have guaranteed hours. We transition to snow duties in the winter and are expected to work extended hours where necessary to ensure our properties are well maintained and the safety of our residents remains our top priority.
Responsibilities will include, at a minimum supervising a small crew, assisting with planning schedules, participating in safety talks and performing routine and scheduled activities to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the properties, including Landscaping projects. As Crew Leader you assist with setting the pace and motivating and supporting the team.
During off seasons and rainy days, other activities may include demolition tasks and appliance mobilization.
We are looking for someone who loves this type of work, knows how to be a strong team member, proves to be reliable, physically capable and highly productive. We will provide on the job training and are willing to coach and support continuous learning.
As Crew Leader, you will be expected to have drivers licence with a clear driver's abstract and a minimum of 1-2 years of related experience.
You must be available to work weekends. In the winter, there is also an on-call 24/7 requirement.
