Mike McGahan is the President and CEO of CLV Group Inc. as well as the Chief Executive Officer and Trustee of InterRent REIT. CLV Group is a company that focuses on providing "Complete Real Estate Solutions", including property management, real estate brokerage, mortgage brokerage, residential rentals, commercial leasing, and construction and acted as the property manager for InterRent REIT up to February 15th, 2018. Mr. McGahan has over 30 years' experience in the real estate industry focusing on multi-residential apartment and commercial property sector. He has successfully bought, sold, financed, and managed over 300 properties valued in excess of $3 Billion. Mr. McGahan, along with CLV Group, has earned a reputation as one of the top property managers having managed a portfolio of over 10,000 residential units and 500,000 sq. ft. of commercial space for institutions including Toronto Dominion Bank, Bank of Hong Kong, Bank of Nova Scotia, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, Canada Lands, and private investors and pension funds. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Mr. McGahan has been a licensed real estate agent and mortgage broker for over 25 years.
Mr. McGahan and his team at CLV Group and InterRent have been personally involved with several local and national charities including The Boys and Girls Club, Snowsuit Fund, Dragon Boat, Hope Volleyball, the Youth Services Bureau, Habitat for Humanity and Christie Lake Kids. He and his team have successfully raised funds to provide updated facilities and extended after school programming for children at the Don McGahan clubhouse in Ottawa's east end and Ron Kolbus clubhouse in Ottawa's west end. Mr. McGahan was also a past board member of the Youth Services Bureau and is an active board member for the Ottawa Hospital Foundation. His desire to give back and dedication to bettering communities has consistently inspired his colleagues and members of the community to do the same.
