Mike McGahan is the CEO and Founder of CLV Group. With over $7B in real estate transactions and more than three decades of industry leadership, Mike is a trailblazer in the Canadian real estate market. A passionate philanthropist, he continues to dedicate his time and support to local organizations including Youth Services Bureau, BGC Canada, and Habitat for Humanity.

Mike McGahan is the Executive Chairman of InterRent REIT and the CEO of CLV Group, two companies that he has been instrumental in expanding into industry leaders in the Canadian Real Estate Market.
In 1992, Mike founded Commvesco Realty, which would in 1998 merge with Levinson Viner to form CLV Group and go on to become one of the largest Real Estate companies in Ottawa. In 2009, CLV Group directed a private placement with InterRent REIT. Under Mike’s leadership, InterRent REIT grew from a market capitalization of $40 million to $2 billion and was named one of the top performing stocks on the TSX from 2010 to 2020. The REIT also achieved total returns of 1125% during Mike’s tenure, ranking #6 in the TSX Composite index over the same period.
Throughout his career, Mike has been involved in over $7B in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, management, and construction. In 2019, he was recognized by the Brendan Wood Shareholder Confidence Index, which measures the top CEO’s of 1400 big cap publicly traded companies worldwide. Only two percent of all CEO’s are rated in this class. He was also recently honoured as Ottawa’s 2023 CEO of The Year, as chosen by the Ottawa Board of Trade.
Mike is also passionate about his philanthropic efforts and drive to give back to his community. He was honoured at the 2018 AFP Ottawa Philanthropy Awards for his charitable involvement with organizations such as the Youth Services Bureau, the Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity amongst others. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of The Ottawa Hospital Foundation Executive and Board of Directors of The Federation of Rental-Housing Providers of Ontario, and in the past as board member of the Youth Services Bureau.

Paul Bouzanis brings over 40 years of expertise in asset management, construction financing, and property development. Under his leadership, the CLV team become a trusted partner for institutional investors and a leader in affordable and community housing solutions.

Since 1985, Paul Bouzanis has been a leader in real estate asset management, leveraging over 37 years of experience to transform the company into a premier one-stop shop for institutional investors. Under Paul’s guidance, CLV Group excels in asset management for equity and debt investments across all asset classes, as well as construction financing, land development, and the development of residential subdivisions, condominium apartments, retirement homes, and hospitality projects.
Paul was elected to the InterRent REIT Board of Trustees in 2009, where he co-engineered a private equity placement and repositioning that same year. During his tenure, he also served as Chair of the Capital Resources Committee, before retiring from the InterRent Board in 2023.
Since 1997, Paul has partnered with stakeholders such as Youth Services Bureau (Ottawa), John Howard Society (Ottawa), Shepherds of Good Hope, and the City of Ottawa to develop a range of affordable, supportive, and/or community housing solutions, constructing 15 buildings and several major renovation projects.
Paul and his team have provided Development Management and Construction Management Services to clients including First Capital, Summit REIT, RioCan, Patriot Equities, and O&Y Enterprise. Since 2005, Paul and his team have been actively investing in, financing, and developing properties throughout Canada, demonstrating vast expertise in all stages of the real estate cycle. Our portfolio encompasses land and subdivision development, condo development, purpose-built multi-residential projects, commercial and mixed-use properties, hospitality, and seniors’ housing.
Paul has been retained as an expert for extremely difficult and complex construction projects and for distress management as an owner’s representative due to his unique skill set and a depth of knowledge that encompasses all sides of development.

Oz Drewniak joined CLV Group in 1999, gaining experience in acquisitions, operations, and marketing over the course of 25 years. As Vice President Acquisitions at InterRent REIT, Oz led over $1 billion in transactions and major redevelopment projects like LIV Apartments. Returning to CLV Group Developments as Principal in 2018, he now drives acquisitions, development, and industry-leading office-to-residential conversions for multi-family and mixed-use projects.

Oz Drewniak has focused his career on all aspects of the real estate lifecycle. Originally learning the business from a family operation, he joined CLV Group in 1999 where he worked with the acquisitions, property operations, and marketing teams. He spent several years at InterRent REIT as Vice President, leading its acquisitions program. He was responsible for the successful completion of over $1 Billion in transactions, and worked on major redevelopment projects including LIV Apartments.
Oz returned to CLV Group Developments as Principal in 2018, applying his more than 25 years of industry knowledge in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, and marketing to lead the acquisition and development of lands for multi-family residential and mixed-use purposes. Under his leadership, CLV Group Developments has become an industry leader in office-to-residential conversions, with high-profile projects completed/underway in Ottawa.
Executive Leadership

Before joining the CLV, John was Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Investments for Fengate Asset Management. He focused exclusively on expanding Fengate’s real estate platform, growing their AUM from $0.5B to $3.5B and overseeing the investment process, including sourcing investment opportunities and raising capital for the various fund strategies.
Prior to his investment banking career, John held several senior executive positions including co-founder and CFO of InStorage REIT, co-founder and CFO of InScotia Developments LP, and SVP and CFO of FTG Inc, among others.
John Bartkiw

Roch Brisson has over 35 years of experience in corporate finance, real estate investments, strategic planning and various finance / accounting functions. He has an extensive track record of success in the real estate industry, having previously held positions as CFO and COO at Brigil Homes and VP of Finance at Minto Communities Inc.

Chris Clarke brings over 20 years of finance and corporate services experience to the CLV team, managing all aspects of financial reporting and planning, taxation, treasury, and risk management, as well as leasing and property administration services. Chris specializes in developing finance functions in entrepreneurial companies and has been involved in financing and M&A transactions valued at nearly $1 billion.

Amanda Gordon is the Chief Talent Officer at CLV Group, bringing over 20 years of experience in strategic talent management. Amanda is renowned for her expertise in hiring, engaging, and developing top talent to support strategic business growth, having successfully overseen over a thousand hires. Her career spans both small and large-scale organizations, with extensive international experience and decades of proven success in professional development, scaling businesses, and executive coaching.

Amanda Gordon

Annu Gulati has worked with CLV Group since 2016, bringing more than 15 years of expertise from the fields of hospitality, not-for-profit investments, and biomedical manufacturing. She is highly educated with a Bachelor of Commerce, an MBA, and an MSC Finance from the University of East London. Annu has expertise in private enterprises and has a history of demonstrated success improving business processes such as accounting practices, internal audit compliance, and treasury management.

Bob Jarrett joined CLV Group in 1994 as a controller, eventually moving into his current role directing all operational functions of the property management division of the company. He has over 32 years of experience in real estate accounting and is fluent in all operational aspects of the real estate industry, as well as various tax and insurance considerations.

Specializing in investment property sales, Dave excels in brokering transactions involving apartment buildings, retail plazas, and office buildings, providing clients with tailored strategies to maximize their real estate investments.

Jenn Morrison is a Registered Professional Planner with nearly 25 years of experience in both the private and public development sectors. In a previous role at Mattamy Homes, Jenn oversaw the Site Plan Approval and Building Permit processes for over 10,000 single-family, townhouse, and high-rise condo units. Jenn also brings municipal planning experience from her time as Manager of Development Services at the City of Brampton, where she was involved in the approval processes of all Site Plan Applications, including high-rise, mid-rise, and low-density residential projects, as well as commercial and industrial sites. She has experience with master-planned communities as well as managing the review of several multi-family residential projects.

Anthony Scaletta is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience, including 25 years in the IT sector where he held various senior leadership roles and gained significant expertise in business development, relationship management, and executive recruitment.
Anthony’s business acumen and extensive experience forging lasting strategic partnerships continue to be critical drivers of CLV Group’s growth. As Vice President of Private Equity, he has assembled several high net worth investors for large-scale multi family Real Estate Opportunity Funds, Office Conversion Funds, and Debt Funds.

With over 30 years of experience in property management and operations, John oversees a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties ranging from high-rise multi-family complexes to low-rise and converted townhomes. John’s oversight and strategic guidance have been critical to the success of CLV Group’s expansion, while his dedication to mentorship and operational excellence have supported the simultaneous growth of its team.

He is responsible for all stages of the real estate cycle, from fundraising and fund creation to value creation, disposition, and investor reporting.

Holding a Master’s in Architecture and a Gold Seal Certification as a Project Manager, Maria Martinez joined our team in 2015 and quickly advanced to the Director level, driven by her leadership and strategic vision. Her dedication to mentorship has been pivotal in building a cohesive, high-performing team. Under her guidance, numerous successful projects have been completed, with a particular focus on the commercial and non-profit sectors, leaving a lasting positive impact on the communities they serve.

Maria Martinez, M.Arch, GSC-PM

Otto brings 10+ years of experience in real estate development and a proven track record of delivering high-impact developments with long-term community value. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of development projects from strategic planning, financial analysis, entitlements, design, to construction and lease-up.
In his previous role with Oxford Properties Group, Otto completed over 1.5M SF of mixed-use, residential, and commercial development projects across Canada.

Lee Ann Boyce has over 26 years of experience encompassing a broad based business acumen with a blend of analytical, management, leadership, and public speaking skills. An accomplished Controller, skilled in managing people and process, in addition to working collaboratively in teams to achieve organizational goals. She has held positions of Accounting Manager and SAP Module Lead for Minto Communities Inc., and Accounting Supervisor for CAA North & East Ontario. At Minto Miss Boyce, managed a highly effective finance team, responsible for producing accurate and timely financial and project reporting, for the division responsible for land development and new home construction in Ottawa and Toronto. Miss Boyce was also appointed the role of the FICO SAP Module Lead for system implementation, with the role being expanded to include Project Systems. Miss Boyce is a designated CPA with the Charted Professional Accountants of Ontario, and holds a degree in Project Management.

Chris Rosil, CPA, CA, brings over 12 years of financial experience to CLV Group as Director of Finance, Property Management. He previously worked as a Director of Finance in the manufacturing and construction industries dealing with project accounting, treasury, financial strategy, financial modelling, and leading finance teams. Prior to this, Chris worked at Ernst & Young LLP (EY) as an auditor in the private sector group.

Josie Tavares is an urban planner with a Master of Planning Degree (MPl) From Ryerson University. She currently holds a candidate membership with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) and is working towards her professional designation as a Registered Professional Planner.

As project controller, Sydney Benoit assists in the management of budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control for all development projects. She assists with financial reporting, tracking project progress, and collaborating with ownership groups to identify and mitigate risks. Her role ensures compliance with financial regulations while supporting decision-making throughout the development lifecycle.

Justin Reis graduated with High Distinction from Carleton University, earning a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in Finance. His academic dedication and achievements were recognized with the William M. Lawson Scholarship, awarded on the recommendation of the Dean.
Since joining CLV Group, Justin has contributed comprehensive financial analysis to both ongoing and prospective projects, leveraging a solid foundation in financial theory and analytical skills. In 2024, he achieved his CFA designation, further strengthening his expertise and value to the team.

Asiya brings experience in various lending and acquisitions positions to the CLV Group team. She started her career at Roynat Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Scotiabank, where she structured tailored debt financing solutions for mid-market clients, facilitating real estate and equipment purchases, MBO & LBO transactions, and working capital facilities. Previously, Asiya helped Republic Funds establish a mortgage investment company focused on residential loans in Ontario, where she led the development of lending parameters and loan assessment methodologies.

Daniel Cordero is a dynamic Property Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties at CLV Group. Daniel strategically manages leasing, maintenance, renovation projects, budgets, and vendor relationships to maximize asset value and foster positive tenant relationships. Leveraging his previous career as a professional athlete, Daniel excels at motivating his team and building enduring relationships within the communities he manages.

Cheryl brings over 45 years of experience in commercial real estate to CLV Realty Corporation, specializing in sales, leasing, and tenant representation across office, industrial, and retail sectors. A licensed Broker with an F.R.I. designation, she has leased millions of square feet and built strong relationships with tenants, landlords, developers, and brokers alike.
A dedicated community leader, Cheryl has raised over $350,000 through her various fundraising efforts. She has been honored for her outstanding involvement with the Canadian Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity. In 2015, she was the recipient of the Canadian Breast Cancer/ CIBC Community Commitment award in Toronto.

Michael Simon has worked in commercial real estate since 1986 and holds the AACI, P.App designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. He is a licensed Mortgage Broker and a member of Mortgage Professionals Canada (MPC). Michael is also a licenced Real Estate Agent with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), and a member of the Ottawa Real Estate Board.
Michael specializes in the financing of retail, office, commercial, and industrial properties, as well as apartment buildings.
