We are proud to support our teams in their desire to give back, and ensure they are given the time and resources needed to reach their goals. Some of their projects have included:

The Shoebox Project

Women throughout the company come together to pack shoeboxes filled with essentials for women in need. Together our team has packed over 30 boxes full of goods that otherwise may not be in reach for these women. These boxes are distributed to local shelters in Ottawa.

CN Cycle for CHEO

Led by our staff who understand firsthand the impact this hospital can have on a child, our team fundraises and participates in a variety of biking and walking events. Fundraising efforts from the event are put towards research and treatment plans for children and youth who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Operation Christmas Child

Involving both staff and their children, this event involves packing boxes filled with gifts and essential supplies to send to youth in underdeveloped countries. Family and friends team up, have fun, and pack boxes for children in need. In 2018, we donated just under 70 boxes.

CLV Group is involved in many efforts that support local, regional and national charities. Those who generously donate their time and efforts include our staff, corporate vendors, and our residents. Some of our most supported charities and events include: 

The Boys and Girls Club

The Boys and Girls Club holds a special place in the heart of our company. We strongly support their mission to provide safe and supportive environments for children and youth. To date, we have contributed over $1.5 million dollars to their cause.

The Mike McCann Charity Golf Tournament

In memory of a true community leader, our annual charity golf tournament has raised over $8.1 million to date with participation from our generous partners and volunteers across Canada. 100% of all funds raised are donated to local charities including The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs, Habitat for Humanity NCR, The Olde Forge Community Research Centre, Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa and many more.

The Ottawa Food Bank

Throughout the year, CLV Group hosts a variety of events and food drives in support of the Ottawa Food Bank. Both our staff and our residents are encouraged to participate in collecting non-perishable donations. In December 2023, our team was also honoured to participate in the CTV Morning Live Holiday Helpers Food Drive with a $100,000 donation made possible by the sponsors of our Mike McCann Charity Golf Tournament.
