A $25,000 Donation to Habitat for Humanity from the Mike McCann Memorial Charity Golf Tournament
Last September, the Mike McCann Memorial Charity Golf Tournament raised a total amount of $758,000 which has been gradually donated to multiple charitable organizations throughout Ontario and Quebec such as the The Snowsuit Fund, Sun Youth Montreal and multiple Food Banks.
On Friday March 6th, our team had the pleasure of welcoming Alexis Ashworth, CEO of Habitat for Humanity, to present them with a $25,000 donation to be used for their multiple initiatives.
Since the beginning of its movement in Canada in 1985 Habitat for Humanity brings communities together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership. With the help of donors and volunteers, Habitat for Humanity builds and rehabilitate decent and affordable homes, from single-family houses to multi-unit developments, and support the new homeowners with the tools and resources to care and pay for their home.
